You can do a lot more than that with Two Betrayals. If you run through the
starting hallways, ignoring the sentinels, and get outside and go for the
Banshees, you'll get to them before she even starts talking about the Pulse
Generators. Then you can blow the first one around the time she says you
need a Banshee. When you're inside the next base on your way to the canyon,
she'll start talking about how to blow it up. Then she'll say to head for
the next canyon around the time you get to it. Then she seems to catch up,
but until then it's really funny.
And Foehammer couldn't have gone any farther. Her Pelican wouldn't fit
through the doors to the first base. The other Pelicans came from above into
the area. Foehammer could get into the level, but not through the
underground route you took.

I think the Monitor just wanted to be sure that the MC didn't drop it or
something. I don't think there ever would have been another level there, but
it is strange, especially since they warp in finishing a conversation that
they had never started.

She drained a whole ton of energy from the MC's suit when she did that, and
she said if she did it again, it would permanently damage her shields. It
was the only place she could teleport you to on the Covenant ship, because
of interference from the damaged reactor messing with the warp grid. And at
the end, the warp grid runs through the ring, but not through the Pillar of
Autumn, so she would be unable to teleport you around during that battle.
One major plothole is why didn't the Monitor just teleport you away from the
Pillar of Autumn? He was obviously capable of warping you around. Why didn't
he just teleport you to like ten thousand feet above the ring and get the
Index from your flattened corpse? It's not a physical object (at least it
normally isn't), so it wouldn't be damaged.

Doesn't make sense that the Covenant ship which is hovering above the ring
is on the teleportation grid, but the POA which is laying on the ring isn't
on the teleportation grid. Again, I would want to give it a shot since
being in the POA when it detonates seems like it would "permanently damage
your shields" a whole lot more than a teleport.

Or he could have just teleported you in the control room above the giant
hole and just let you fall to your death. Or done the same to each flood
and killed/contained them that way.
Reminds me why I hate teleportation, sensing the future, etc. They can
really ruin a story.

That's true, but maybe the warp grid beneath the Pillar of Autumn was
disabled by the ship crashing into it. There were a whole lot of explosions,
and you'll notice that the Monitor and Sentinels weren't capable of warping
when they were in the PoA.

One thing: maybe once you had Cortana in you again, she could stop the
Monitor from teleporting you. After all, she had access to the warp grid
too, so maybe she could stop him from using it to move you around. Though it
is a little strange that the Monitor put you through the whole Library
instead of just warping to the Index.
