Halo pc+x-box gamepad+usb adapter+ WinXP= not working

Thanks for your help,

I recently bought an adapter for my x-box controller because I love playing
halo on my x-box but don't get the same feel of gameplay from the mouse and
keyboard combo. I want to be able to kick butt online!!! The device, when
connected, brings up a dialouge box that tells me that I need a CD with the
gamepad's device driver. It lists it as a jtech usb joypad, but says the
above. How do I resolve this problem?

Any help will be greatly appreciated as my gaming needs are being postponed
by this delay. Thanks again!

You probably need to contact the manufacturer for the proper CD.
