| TOA might be tolerable if Mythic would wake up to the fact that NOBODY likes
this crap. If a player needs ML in order to be competitive, and you do, then
the player should be able to solo this game. Some of us don't care to zerg
everything. In my opinion zerging is a waste of a fine game. I have 5 level
50 toons, 5 level 50 lgm crafters, so I must like the game, and I must
devote time to it, but this master level stuff is ruining this game. I thank
Mythic for fixing the Artifact problems, now if they would fix the Master
level problems, I might consider the new expansion, but I will not buy it
now, because it appears to be more master level nonsense with a new name.

Darkness rising is nothing like TOA all you have to do is talk to the king
in the throne room and then play as you normally wood, you get champion
level xp for every thing you kill if you are level 50 once you get to cl5
you will have the all the sub classing which you get at each cham. level and
your champion weapon, you DO NOT have to do the champion quest, but I did
and they are fun, but you do need a full group to complete some steps, buy
it you will enjoy it once again its nothing like grind in TOA.

| Agreed..on your point about ML stuff. I hate TOA, but I have found the
quests for Darkness Rising to be very interesting, unique and fun. Its
completly different.....The Quests that is specific for Darkness Rising..is
interesting...more so than the Atlantis stuff which was allways a
blur.....and no direct them..other than a lot of big things to kill in some
complex manor that is difficult to do as a large battlegroup. Give DF, a
try...Its vastly different.
I have been playing for almost 4 years, and still consider myself an
amature...I have never enjoyed TOA, and have a couple of toons on non TOA
servers. As TOA stuff makes RvR difficult for toons who don't have it. I
have actually avoided TOA..other than Level 1, because I didn't find them
interesting....now I have completed the Darkness Rising quest I am going
back to do the TOA stuff...and really see why I didn't like them....they are
vastly Different than Darkness Rising.
I think Mythic has improved the game. DF is definatly going back to the old
basics.

The problem with ToA, as I saw it, was that it totally broke the frame of
the game. It was as if you were trying to mix in a different game, perhaps
some leftover from another project. Darkness Rising, on the other hand, is
more of the good old DAoC, it has the same look and feel. I applaud their
choice to let the player expand levels outward to new skills rather than
upward by simply adding level 51-55. Gives a more varied set of player
characters.
