| I come from asia where the DVD movies are released in Region 3. I have
no problems with that except that the movies released on region 3 DVDs
a lot of them are crap and don't even contain as much stuff as the
region 1 version. Some movies released here in region 3 don't even
have dolby digital, just Dobly stereo. Suffice to say DTS on region 3
DVDs are almost unheard off.
So most of the time I purchase region 1 DVDs for the quality. They
cost a little more but at least I know I have the quality which the
studios intended as well as all the extras.
Is there anyway to make my 360 region free so that I can play code 1
movies as well? Thanks. By the way, my 360 is NTSC-J.
