Hi

Do I have to use an XBox 360 wireless adapter, or can I use a more generic
device (like the netgear 108Mbps adapter I use on my pc)?

TIA

Tony

If you use a 108 Mbps system, you need to get that company's matching
product. Those "speed booster" systems use a non-standard protocol specific
to their products only, so you'll have problems if you try to use a regular
802.11b/g adapter to connect with them. Either that, or if the networking
device supports it, shut off the 108 Mbps stuff.

Hi,

I purchased the Xbox 360 wireless adapter and unfortunatelly I could not get
it to work at all. I usually keep all D-Link network gear in my network and
this is the first time I used a non-D-Link device and I've paid for it. Now
I am using a D-Link Wireless bridge for the 360 and it works fine.
