Anyone know if there is a way of switching off the wireless controller
support for the 360?

Its just that I have a Digital TV Sender for transmitting sky upstairs,
however when the xbox is turned off (still switched at the mains) it gives a
lot of interference on the transmitted picture... but flicked off at the
plug its fine..

Now for me its not a problem to switch off the 360 when watching anything
upstairs, but as you can guess when im on the xbox downstairs the girlfriend
isn't too happy to have a crap signal on the tv...

My argument of "well lets get HD and the old box can go upstairs on a
multiroom", didn't really get too much support, and not happy with just
freeview channels...

I'm supposing that you've already tried changing the channels on the sender
so I'm not going to say about that.

I have tried 3 of these things in my house and there is simply too much
wireless noise to get any of them working at all - what with wireless
phones, door chimes, and my wireless LAN I have just given up. In the end
I've opted to simply wire my sky box to the bedroom. This is the simplest
and easiest way. Stops all the fuss and simply works. You have to put up
with a slightly poorer picture but my bedroom TV is smaller and I don't
really notice. The only way you'll get the wireless ones working is to
juggle frequencies until it does. Good Luck.

If you do, post your feelings about Sky HD, please. I'm curious but at the
moment can't seem to be able to justify spending all that money on 6 or so
channels. Thanks.
