Wow, I bet it's not even using a Cell processor either. :^)
Just goes to show what I've been saying all along... The PS3 may end up
being the coolest thing since sliced bread, but we simply do not know.
Why? It doesn't exist yet. We should see something at E3 though...

Looks like Sony dropped the idea to bundle Linux with each PS3/HDD and went
with a superior OS. ;)

No actually, there's a combination of things inside that large silver
box. Including a cell processor that's not even running at full spec.

I wonder if that explains why there isnt a blu-ray drive included on
that dev kit... Seems microsoft wont even support HD-DVD with Vista,
although they did delay it... so who knows. Is there anything not being
delayed these days?? Is there anything good going on between now and
November?

Well he's making this big stink about a playstation 3 kiosk... which
btw isnt a kiosk in terms of it playing 'games', its a dev kit hooked
up to a kiosk. And said dev kit is running windows xp. We should be
asking him, 'what do you think they use?'
rhetorical was my intention. Not so much to the follow up, but more
toward the OP. Its like, OMFG LOOK!! Doesnt he know that Sony VAIO
laptops run Windows too??

well you know these crossposting idiots, they probably think sony and
nintendo devkits have to be programmed in binary.

The PS2 had no games for the first year and a half and it sold like
hotcakes.

imagine if they did. We'd still be waiting for Sega to put Sonic together.

What? According to Blig Merk of a week ago, it was just Blu-ray
DRM issues holding up a spring launch, so surely they'd have playables --
and not just on hotrod PCs, hello Gears of War -- out already. =P

because it was being misrepresented as a cheap DVD player.
