Xbox Live Status note

On the 360, Xbox Live users are shown in the friends list by their name
and their status. This is a short text field showing when they were last
online or what game they're currently playing, and if not in a game it
shows you at the Xbox Dashboard. Assuming that you haven't otherwise
limited the display of this information, this is a pretty useful feature.
Does the status feature extend to movies or other non-game activities? I
ask because there might be reason for some people not to want their
friends to see what DVD movies are being played on the Xbox 360. But
seriously, I wonder if this couldn't be a useful tool for feeding
information into the Live status. With a DVD authoring tool (and the right
information about where to put the data) once could show a Live status of
'doing dishes' or 'out in the yard' or perhaps 'Playing on the Gamecube.'
Any information is appreciated. You can go back to counting down the days
to Oblivion now.
-KKC, hunting down a decently-priced copy of Rez. Man, Faberge eggs would
be easier to track down and buy...

| I think you can choose to disable this feature... Toggle it on/off.
