If not let me know nicely, don't tell me what a moron I am for not
knowing.
Anyway, I can get the Enter Cheat Code prompt to come up, but entering
the
cheat code elicits no new message, which it may not. Then when I close
the pause menu to continue playing the level, no new powers have been
added to me like unlimited ammo, health, etc.
This is strange, I know.
(It took me forever to figure out that in order for the Cheat Code
prompt to come up, I ALSO had to hold down the down button, not just
press it like the directions below say.)

Cheat Effect
Disable shellshock
Hold LEFT TRIGGER+RIGHT TRIGGER and press DOWN,A,X,BLACK,B,A.
The phrase enter cheat will appear then enter X,Y,A,B,LEFT TRIGGER,X.
Hide Hud
Hold LEFT TRIGGER+RIGHT TRIGGER and press DOWN,A,X,BLACK,B,A.
The phrase enter cheat will appear then enter BLACK,LEFT
TRIGGER,BLACK,RIGHT TRIGGER,UP,Y.
Kill Nemesis
Hold LEFT TRIGGER+RIGHT TRIGGER and press DOWN,A,X,BLACK,B,A.

Enable the Cheat mode code, then press White,Black,Y,White,Left
Trigger,Left Trigger.
