PS3 = long game-development times

perhaps through the lifecycle of the first Cell-based console."

so in other words, some PS3 games will have a very long development
time, lasting to the end of PS3's lifecycle and beyond it, to PS4 ????
no wonder most developers praise the Xbox 360 while having doubts about
PS3.

| I sincerely doubt it will take 5-10 years to develop each PS3 game.
That makes no sense. You think we won't see lunch titles until 2009?
Granted a few games will take that long (FFXIII), but I don't expect
the average time to be much more than the PS2.

| I think you'll find that the majority of games for the PS3 started life
on PS2 and were upgraded, or PC, etc.
