They're not in stores. Just some games that are starting to rot and
you can join Xbox Live. But, what the good is it without the
machine. Did MS give up?

I'd suggest you check around various web sites since Microsoft announced at
the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this month that is bring
a third factory online for increased production, expecting to ship 4.5-5.5
million units world wide in the first half of this year.

If you live near a Best Buy, the link at the end of this post might help.
Just go to the link, type in your zip code, select your state and click find
nearest store. If any stores near you have them in stock, they will show up
in bold type in the list that appears.

It appears, while Best Buy has not been advertising them since their early
promotions and you cannot yet order them online, they are slowly getting
product into their stores. I went to the link and kept checking the zip
codes close to me and as it turned out, the store closest to me had some in
stock. It wasn't out on the floor, I had to ask someone in that department
when I got there but that's how I was able to find one for myself.

As late as last week, there were Best Buy stores all around me that had them
in stock and as of this writing, there's still one not too far away from me
showing it is in stock. Since I had gone to some other stores for games not
available at the store where I purchased mine and found Xbox 360 available
in those stores, the list appears to be fairly accurate.

Microsoft hit manufacturing problems which affected their launch, but are
supposedly getting things under control and should be shipping systems en
masse shortly. (5.5 mil. by June? they better get going!)

Sears ran a ad in Htown this weekend advertising the 360 core system. They
should slowly start pouring out soon to all the other stores.

One of our neighbor kids just picked up an Xbox 360 Premium at our local
Wal-Mart SuperCenter this afternoon. Just walked in and asked them for it.

They had the 360 earlier this week at Costco. Plenty of them. The
shortage is over.
