| Can the Xbox 360 connect with a regular Windows XP PC to display videos, etc
or do you need Windowx XP Media Center?

| Thanks to the latest software update, the 360 can stream video from an XP PC
thru Windows Media Player 11. As far as I know, it's only .wma files
though.

Hello.
Yes you can, they added support for videos in the update on the 31st of
October. So you may see conflicted reports about this across the net. But
you can now stream video, along with music and images from a regular Windows
XP box.
You've got two options in how to do this, Windows Media Connect, or Windows
Media Player 11. Personally it would probably be easier to go to WMP11
route.

| How about streaming video, music, etc to a normal modded xbox with
media center installed. Do I have to use a comp with media center
installed or can I also just use wmp 11 on any xp system?
