What's even more amazing (not that Dead Rising selling out is amazing) is
that it has the Japanese version of the AO rating, and thus can't be
displayed in plain view, except in the tiny section at the back where they
have the hentai porn games. You basically have to ask for it to be able to
buy it.

Why is the Japanese version rated AO? Did someone slip a nekkid zombie
into the horde or something?
If Japanese 360 gamers are OK with AO games, maybe Microsoft should allow
Pr0n games on their console like the Dreamcast used to do. As I recall,
Sony won't allow Pr0n on the Playstation, so this could be a real quick
way for Microsoft to make gains in Japan in a way Sony can't (won't)
retaliate against.

Sega didn't allow anything that would really count as porn on the DC.
They did allow red label games on the Saturn (and even that kind of
thing isn't exactly porn).
