| This is beginning to look really good, finally. I can't wait to see some
better quality versions of these.
Also thought i would add that although next-gen doesn't seem like such a big
leap initially from this generation, there is a good reason. It's because
we've already seen and played next-gen games in the form of Doom3, Far Cry,
F.E.A.R. etc. Those games are well above and beyond what this current
generation can do, and they look better than many 'next-gen' console
offerings so far. The iterations of Far Cry and Doom3 on the current Xbox do
not even hold a candle to their PC counterparts visually. Us pc gamers have
been broken into the next generation since last year, and so it's not going
to seem like such a huge leap initially. I think that some very special
things will begin to surface starting next year though, with these consoles.
They will raise the bar again, just like they always do, and they will give
the strongest PC some great competition and possibly outclass them for
atleast a short while to come.
