| What I want for Christmas J
Old guy. Not up on anything new, but I'm starting to spend about 15
hrs/day in bed.
TV by cable. Computer by DSL. Cox Cable Has a monopoly.
Buying every thing new and want to know what to buy.
LCD TV (Around $1,000)
Do I want HD or HD capable, need only for Xbox?
Must have stereo headphones connection and boom mike for Xbox
live.
Want all the good capabilities for the Xbox as far as resolution,
frames, etc. Don't know what I'm talking about here.
Xbox 360
Headphones
And after I buy the 'core' system I can spend about $100/ month up
grading. But I want to start with the TV first.
Starting with the TV, any suggestions, names, model numbers?
Question: I have a computer in one room and in the next room I'm
going to set up the LCD TV. If I get a wireless keyboard & mouse
can I direct the computers display to the LCD and work the computer
from bed? A friend of mine says the keyboard/mouse is infa-red and
needs a line of sight. And truth there?
Thanks
Bob

| On the subject of wireless keyboard/mouse, you could always go with
Bluetooth. That has better range than infared I believe and it's not
line-of-sight.
