Do you think that games no days are too violent for children?

It would be a fare assumption that a game rated as M for Mature audience (in
the US or 18 for adults in the UK) is probably unsuitable for younger
children.
The rating system exists to help you as a parent ensure that the games you
allow your children to play are deemed acceptable by you and whatever
standards you judge them by.
It is not appropriate to say all games are too violent and unsuitable for
children anymore then saying every film released in a year is unsuitable for
children - some are some are not.

Not really. Hell when I was a kid we played Cops and Robbers, and shooting
each other with toy guns, and none of us turned to the life of crime.
That's more Real life then a video game on a screen. Really, if Parents are
letting kids play M rated games, they might as well let them see R rated
movies. It's the same thing. It's a GAME, if a kid really can't tell right
from wrong. Real life from Fantasy, I think the kid has problems and game
or no game it wouldn't make any difference. A lot of it is just bad
parenting. These days you have 2 Income families, so the mother isn't at
home all day to watch and teach their kids. Just a fact these days, most
families can't afford to have just 1 income. In fact I only know of 1 of
the top of my head.

Games are ever changing, from one form to another, but it's always been
violent, even from the caveman days.
