Hi

I want to buy a steering wheel for my Xbox. I have choosen 5 steering
wheels, but I need help to choose one of them. Recently I've read some
reviews but notes are slightly different.
The most important is usefulness in Forza Motorsport, PGR2, RBR, Toca2
and relation: price to usefulness (X360 is comming so I have to save
money ;)

1. Fanatec Speedster 3 - definitely the best one, but very expensive
2. Mad Catz MC2 Racing Wheel - don't know this wheel at all
3. Logitech Precision Vibration Feedback Wheel - almost all Logitech
accessories are very good, but this wheel (especially pedals) doesn't
look good
4. Saitek Adrenalin Wheel - cheap, good opinions, anybody know this wheel?
5. Thrustmaster 360 Modena Force GT racing wheel - can't find any review

Please help me

..02 - STILL hold out for true force feedback wheel, not vibration. Although
that is becoming more unlikely with XBox 1 every day...

I've read that it is impossible to get true force feedback, but only
Fanatec wheel is close to true FF.

FF will be awkward if your using it in a sitting room with the wheel resting
on your lap.

I use a Ferrari 360 wheel from thrustmaster. Its okay, as good as some of
the Logitech FF wheels I used to use when I could be bothered to try and get
racing titles on the PC. But the FF is little more than the vibration you
get from the usual controller. For my part, I'm not sure FF ever improved
the gameplay anyway.

The pedal box tends to slip away from your feet during racing - it doesn't
grip the carpet very well. So you may find your stretching your feet to
reach the pedals by the end of a race.

I'd tended to give up with wheels - and just use the controller. With
practice, you can use the normal controller almost as effectively, and I
don't have to set up the wheel every time I feel like a quick race.

I have never used a vibration feedback wheel, so could you tell me if
there is a big difference comparing to FF wheel?

I can't agree with you.
I've played on PS2 with good Logitech FF (don't remember the name) and I
think that good FF wheel is necessary to Play a good racing game (like
Forza).

I think I'll save money and wait for true FF wheel for X360

Yeah, it would be great to have a true FF wheel, but that's about as likely
as a good Star Trek game coming out for the Xbox. ;-)

touche'. LOL, but admittedly with a little pain. And there was such hopes
when the franchise broke over.

Well, hopefully we'll get something Star Trek for the Xbox 360.

Let's hope - for the first time in 18 years there is not a Star Trek show
set to air, so maybe people will pick up on it a little quicker ( if the
quality is there ) in order to get a fix.

(Wait - this wasn't a big nerd test or anything, was it? ) ;)

LOL! You passed. ;-)

The ending of Enterprise was a bit of a dissapointment. Let's hope the
next iteration won't be the Love Boat in space.
