| Who here from the US would pay $70 (US) for a game? I ask because that is
what we are paying for some games in the UK. Where is the most expensive
place to buy games?

| I think a lot of the problem with the UK as a whole is we don't complaine
enough about prices. We let the price of everything rocket and don't really
batter an eye-lid. My perfect example is when I was 10 a can of Coke was 25p
now 12 years on I pay 65p. Where is the logic in that?!?! I really do think
the British as a socity should start protesting against corporate fat cats.
Imagin if everyone in the uk said right we will not buy anything from any
shops what so ever for one day. That would seriously cripple a lot of the
fat cats!!!
Er oh yeh, where is the most expensive place to purchase games.
Sorry Tim went a bit off track their.

Is that a price for the limited edition version? Which titles are that
costly, out of curiosity? Is it the same price for locally produced titles
(which is a lot in the UK)? Are PC games in the same range? Finally, is the
price fairly constant at the major retailers?
While I know that in the past Nintendo 64 games were priced close to that
level I would be hard pressed to justify an XBox game for $70 - I am already
having a hard time accepting the rumoured $59 for 360 games. For $70 I
would expect it to be a colossal special edition with extra disc, etc.

No it's the uk price in dollars for Star Wars Lego on Amazon!!!!! And it is
pretty much the same as you'll pay for release games.

Nope. A lot of game here arrive at £39.99 UK. Ask any UK resident. We are
ripped off.
