Author Xbox 360 resolution on a standard TV

Maybe nobody knows yet, but I'm wondering this. Is the Xbox 360 worth
getting in November, if you don't own an HD 16:9 TV set?

Will the new Xbox 360 games look pretty much the same as those made for
a regular Xbox, if using only a standard TV set? Or, will the 360 output
more resolution via the component or s-connector cables than a regular Xbox?

No way... Of course some games are still stuck in this generation, but if
you take things like Oblivion and Ghost Recon 3 even on a normal TV are far
beyond anything on the Xbox.

Hey, Guess what? There were quite a few Xbox games that supported 720P(I
think like around 30 and a few supported 1080i (I believe 5 did), and a
whole bunch supported 16x9 (Around 300). Did you notice? NO

It's just that now on the 360, EVERY GAME will support at least 720P in 16x9
mode. Not just a select few. The Graphics will be better no matter what
type of TV you have. It's like playing a game on your Computer. Play it
in low Res like 640x480, looks OK, Put the Resolution up to 1280x1024 and
you go WOW. Same game, different Resolution. It's the SAME THING with a
HDTV. Instead of 480i like all normal TV's have, HDTV's have 480P, 720P,
and 1080i(A few have 1080P also) You double the resolution you get better
graphics because of better Detail. Throw in a 16x9 screen and now you can
see more to the left and right. Just like at the Movies.

You HAVE to use Component (Red,Green,Blue) connections at least to get HD
resolutions, or DVI or HMDI.

If your using a Regular TV, the same old type of connections are all you
need. Composite (Yellow)or S-Video. (Round Plug)

The graphics will be better. It's just like Upgrading from older consoles
before.
