| I know some of the exact final specs may be unknown for the xbox 360. I
have an HDMI input on my HDTV, does anyone know if 360 will support this
interface?

They've not yet announced an HDMI adapter. I think it will ship with
component out of the box.

I don't think they have announced an HDMI or DVI port yet. Keep an eye on
the forums at http://www.hdtvarcade.com The latest HDTV news on the system

Component can typically be used for 1080i too, sounds like a enforcement
with the DVD player DVI/HDMI will give better picture quality as there's no
analogue conversion going on.
Everyone loves HDMI (esp content produces like Sony) because of the
uber-copyprotection layer in it.

I thought all DVDs had 480 lines of info, not 720 or 1080? Is the DVD
player up-converting?
