I don't want a new Xbox

| Hi just got an xbox last Dec.
I got it moded and it does everything I want.
It's not only a console it an entertainment center.
It plays all divx formats, dvds, mp3, games, ftps,old dos games, streams
video ect.
Why would I want a new xbox a modded xbox has all the tech i need/want why
are they pushing the next box when the one we have has so much untapped
potental?
But why do I want a new xbox all it will add is some HD graphix <that i cant
see>need a hd tv ;)?
It's just a money grab...newer is not better.
Support the old hardware and use it to it's potental!
MSoft is becomeing like a car company a new modle every year ;)
I might get the new play station next year because it will become a hub with
my psp...
Also sony suports bacward compatbility...
Look at the ps2 been around 2x long as the Xbox and still going strong.
I love my Xbox MS should sell it modded form instead of crippleing it ;)
Then they would have better market share rather then throwing new useless
tech at it.
Make the stuff you have work better ;)

| Just becuase you are late to get an *old* console doesn't mean we
should suffer with the bad graphics on the current XBOX compared to
next gen consoles. I have a modded xbox too. Why would that make you
not want a far better graphically console?
I CANT WAIT for the X360 and PS3!!!

OK, let us all wait. And please tell us when YOU are ready for the new
technology...

| Rick, there is an easy solution for you in all of this. Keep playing your
old modded xbox with all the old technology games. We will all upgrade the
the far suppior XBox 360 with the amazing new graphics, LIVE2 capabilities
etc etc. Then, a year before the next xbox comes out, you can buy the 360.
Good plan?
It's small minded people like you that vote against freeways that will
increase everyone's property value, as well as bring more jobs to the
community all because you don't want to lose a few acres (with ample
compensation!).

Yeah .. money grab .. yeah!
I still use my mono GameBoy and it does *everything* I want.
When people say "colour screen" to me I laugh at them. I modded my
GameBoy with coloured transparent tape.
And 5.1 audio? My Mum, Dad, two sisters and dog all stand in corners of
the room and shout/bark at me!
It's way cool! I don't believe you shelled out all that cash on an
"Xbox" .. sucker.
I used my degree in Graphic art to put a cool Gbox logo on the back too.
Honest.
