Oh, they'll want to. Bought and sold the PS2 version in large part
because the soundtrack was so dull - well, that and the infuriating
lack of a mission-retry feature. Might just barely be worth picking up
for the XBox and putting the VIce City soundtrack in instead.
(Although without missin-retry playing the game really is a bit of a
chore).

That's very reasonable. They may have had to wait a long time for the game,
but boy, do they get it cheap!

The soundtrack (or a tribute to NWA) grew on me in the end (98.4%
completed when I binned it on 2 challenges, NRG and the first stadium)...
Mission Retry would improve the game hugely, but once you get a bit of
cash, you tend to be able to buy somewhere close to where the mission is..
Major criticism is that there are three or four showstopping missions (I
spent over a week on the dancing on the beach mission) and the rest are
damned easy really, even the later missions taking maybe 2 times to
complete them. Getting the graffiti/horeshoes etc helps out with a
weapons supply...
The beach mission was even helped by me doing some of the burgling stuff
to get cash, and then buying the flat near to the mission...
It took me ages to appreciate it as a classic though, but I recall the
moment when that happened...
Drive to airport. Get in Lear Jet. Fly off to another city. Jump out
the plane and parachute into the spot where you want to be while
the plane crashes on the ground a few hundred yards from where you land.
Class.

The soundtrack is about the least segregated part of the game. There's
everything from Redneck to Hip Hop. I found it a little boring at
first but then I got into it, now I'm kind of getting bored again as
I've heard most of it too many times.

I think the difference is in the practicalities. Morons tend to be
genetically inclined to be of substandard intelligence. Idiots are
generally cureable.

The hip hop does grow on you, I didn't think it would...
I do think its kind of too NWA based though... Complete lack of Ice-T...
