Hi! My boys each got an XBox and want to network them together and use the
xBox Live part. I have several questions.

1. Do they each need their own IP address for live?
2. Can we add another wireless router as an acess point to our network, set
them up on their own submask, so our data is separate, and provide this to
access xBox Live?
3. Are there other wirelss devices that can hook into the xbox?

We want to get them networked so they can play each other and have access to
the Live part. Here is our configuration:
Belkin F5D7230-4 router
Belkin 8-port switch
5 workstations (3 98's,, 2 xp's)
2 servers (2000 server & 2003 server)
2 wirelss laptops

Ideally, if we can make the xbox's wireless, I'm assuming it will be
cheaper. The only thing I found was an $80 wireless gaming adapter.
Assuming we can add a router as an access point, it would be cheaper and we
could run cable.

Basically, I'm seeking advice for the best and cheapest way possible. Your
help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Marcia

Keep in mind that they each need a separate Xbox LIVE account of their own.

Check the email I just sent you... I have same setup.

Brother and I do that too.

Just take a laptop or desktop in each of their rooms, put in a wifi card,
and use a crossover cable and hook it up to xbox..

If the house is wired, just use a hub or something and existing cabels.
