Hi guys,

I made a huge mistake of buying the Official MS HDTV pack from
www.divineo.co.uk, thinking it would work with my non-hdtv TV. I dont have
Composite video inputs.

I have S-video input (Which I would like to use)

However, I think I was mislead with the fact that it was stated that the
HDTV pack works with S-Video as well, if I dont have HDTV yet. Look at this
link http://www.divineo.co.uk/cgi-bin/div-uk/xb-of-hidef

Is it possible to hook the HDTV pack using s-video? How?

Thanks in advance for any decent replies.
Warren

Hi Warren,

It looks like a bit of incorrect text on the third party site
the Microsoft site covers the HDTV cable at
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/...itionavpack.htm
and the Advanced cable at
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/advancedavpack.htm

Only the Advanced AV pack supports S-Video

So it looks like you need to return your HDTV pack and get the AV one.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the reply, guess I will just keep it for when I "upgrade" :-)
I'll have to order the Advanced cable as well.

Kind Regards
Warren

Warren,

Maybe a word to the vendor about the "error" in their advert may be
something you might like to do.
