| You could find yourself a USB to ethernet adaptor. I have not seen one
of these, but i have got a Ethernet to USB downstairs on the pile of
garbage. I'm sure you can find one.

| Or you can use Internet Connection Sharing but this means you need to leave
the computer on all the time. Are you certain that the router doesn't have
both USB and ethernet? I'd never seen a USB only one before.

| You can either Trade in your Modem for one that connects by Ethernet. Then
get yourself a Cheap Router. Plug the Ethernet Modem into the Router and
the Computer and the Xbox into the Router. Bother Computer and Xbox can be
on the Internet at the same time, or you can have one of the other off.
Or you have to use your Computer. If you don't have a Ethernet connection
you'll need to install a card. You'll have to run ICS and have your Xbox
connected to your computer. Of course your computer has to be on and setup
for the Xbox to get on LIVE. Can be a hassle. Much easier the first way.
But if you can't, then you have to do it this way.
You need to go here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/connect/windowsics.htm
and print out the Instructions and follow the directions.
