Konami offers a life of crime!

Gang warfare comes to PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC in Konami's new
action-packed crime epic

Konami of Europe has announced it is to publish a new action title for
PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC entitled Crime Life: Gang Wars. Crime Life: Gang
Wars is a free roaming crime based beat em up. Mixing action and strategy
elements within a gritty, detailed storyline to explore modern-day urban
gang culture, the player is cast as a small-time homie who must work their
way through the ranks to become a gang leader.

Urban culture is the focus of Crime Life: Gang Wars. Hence the theme of the
game will be Hip Hop. Hip Hop is popular urban youth culture, closely
associated with rap music and with the style and fashions of Afro-American
inner-city residents.

Developed by Konami of Europe's Product Development, Crime Life: Gang Wars
boasts a strong narrative that shows the dangers and strains associated with
gang membership, and promotes a strong sense of morality via game elements
inspired by classic gang movies, such as New Jack City, Boyz 'n the Hood and
Menace to Society. The player must protect his own people from exploitation
and abuse, and defend his crew from the violence and treachery that
permeates the society he lives in. The game itself is set within Grand
Central City, a sprawling metropolis where ruthless gangs are vying for
power as the police struggle to contain them.

The game's stunning visuals and rich characterization truly bring Crime
Life: Gang Wars alive, with each gang instantly recognizable via a large
cast of anti-heroes. Reputation is everything, and for the player to survive
he must establish himself as the toughest fighter against the most menacing
gang members out there, all of whom are battling for street supremacy. The
player will always feel like their next fight could finish them or make
their name forever.

Crime Life will be released for PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC in 2005. For more
information, please check http://www.konami-crimelife.com

Any chance you could limit your endless cut n' pasting to your usual
next-gen console speculation rather than every new game announcement? Just
curious.

I'm wondering if the endless cut and pasting is copyright infringement?

The music and voice acting suck. I predict another failed attempt to be like
GTA but failing miserably like The Getaway

Zackman, did you really mean to say this?

Comcast seem to have a bit of a poor record when it comes to acting on
complaints. Luckily, thay have a toll-free number for those of you
living int he US.

If you happen to ring 1-800-COMCAST at any time, don't forget to quote
some of the advice they give on
http://www.comcast.com/Support/Corp...etail_2518.html and ask
them to cut off the tosspot's service.

Followups set to some poor random group.

When the hell did New Jack City become classified as a gang movie? Boy are
they stretching on this one. Not to mention, during that era, there were
more Gheri-Curl Americans and Cornrow-Americans than Afro-Americans (who in
the hell says that anymore).

That's comedy gold right there, though probably not intentionally.
