Yes...and no. Sure, on a PC you're looking at video cards with more
power, however it's very rare that any games actually *use* nearly all
that power. In fact, by the time the game programmers catch up with the
power and feature presented by one generation of cards, there's been
another whole new generation (or 2!) released.
So while the potential is there, the programmers are always playing
catch-up.
At any rate, both the PC and consoles have games that are unique to them,
and there's certainly room for both.
