XBOX 360 game files?

| I have looked all over the x-box 360 and regular x-box sites and have found
no information about if you can transfer your old x-box game files (which as
most know, have countless hours/days of game play) via the memory pack
either from the x-box 360 or from the old x-box system, or if it is even at
all possible to transfer your old game data to the new system or do you have
to start all over again from the start. The employees at EB games and other
retailers who are selling the new x-box 360 systems know nothing on the
matter. So as a last resort does anyone have any information or does everyone
else seem to know something I don’t?

| I think you need to have the external hard drive for the 360 to do this.
www.360Console.co.uk
It does mention it when you read about choosing the full version over the
core version.
