I finally got a chance to check out the XBox360 kiosk at the local
Walmart (or is that Wal*mart?) yesterday. Putting King Kong on it was
a mistake. Not only is the game lame (as judged from the 5 minutes I
played it), but the graphics are about on par with a middle of the road
XBox 1 game.

Sheesh, you'd think they'd have the sense to put a good looking game on
their demo unit. I'm waiting for PGR3 or Oblivion to show up. King
Kong's no system seller.

You're an idiot. So far, it's a great game from what i can tell, and i can
also tell you that this game looked a LOT better on the 360 i was playing
than it does on my X850, which looks far better than any current generation
console version. The only thing i have to complain about is that the games
were not anti-aliased. MS explicitly stated that all games will have AA as
standard, so it BETTER be in the final versions or i will be one very
unhappy gamer.

The fact that they're bringing it to 19 different platforms kind proves
my point. They didn't exactly go out of their way to showcase the
power of the X360. Simultaneous cross-platform development usually
leads to mediocrity. As do movie-licenced games.

Hard-pressed to see how King Kong is better. They look about the same
to me. Maybe even Farcry (Xbox1) looks better.

Sounds like you got a pre-order on it and you're a little bitter about
the current level of suckitude.

What analysis was that, sport?

I said they made a poor choice of game to showcase the X360. Try
reading the thread before you respond.
