We lost everything that wasn't in the trunk of the car. Living on an
island, you're physically prepared for such things. For years, we've kept a
strong-box with all our docs, marraige liscense, SS cards, a .40 pistol and
$500 cash. That, my PC, and some clothes are all we have--oh, of course, my
xbox was rescued. It's not as bad for me--I'm used to living out of a
suitcase because it's been my job for a while--it's very stressful on the
wife though. Housing isn't really our main concern though, we're both grad
students and it's our hope that this semester isn't a total wash. I mean,
we're 28 and 29--we're ready to stop being college kids already.
