Mostly thanks to sheer size. Remember, a lot of countries are roughly the
size of Florida, which gives little in the area of extra resources for said
area.
But yes, I agree. There are other great countries as well, for the record,
but I like the good ole' USA. The concept of united states is hard to beat,
as natural disaster cooperation illustrates. Again, there are other
countries that have self-contained shared resources, but I like this one the
best.
