| The news about EA getting exclusive rights to NFL is just disturbing. I know
money talks but you know competition is the best thing for this industry. I
shutter to think we have to only have on NFL game each year. I know we have
pros and cons to each game but this is just a shame.

Brian, just because EA may have exclusive rights to NFL team names and
rosters, does not mean that no other company may produce a football game.
They will just have fictions team and player names.

| Yeah, I know that but no one will buy a "generic pro" football game...at
least I don't think it will sell well.

Im sure they could also make the game 100% customizable. Xbox live has
something that allows you to make emblems. I don't know how that works but
it sounds like you would be able to make the official team logos and put
them in the game. Then edit the rosters with the real player names and all
of a sudden you have the real thing.
