| Without the hard drive in the Xbox, your going to get an error code because
it can't load the software. Now if the Xbox was originally broken, or if it
wasn't (just a loose connection) doesn't really matter because the hard
drive is gone. To get that Xbox functional you will need to replace both
the motherboard and hard drive (Microsoft locks them together for a security
check) unless you install a mod chip (on a motherboard that might not work)
either way your looking at $60-80 to get the Xbox running.
