Pelican Tomahawk Xbox Flight Stick Programming Issue
|
|
|
| Just purchased a Pelican Tomahawk flight stick and sat down to play Crimson
Skies ... tried multiple ways to reprogram the trigger button as the primary
weapon (Right front button - RT1) but it fails to reprogram.
The instructions say something like "Hold down the program button for 2
seconds, Press button to reprogram (trigger) and LED will flash (it does),
then press button with function (RT1) to assign to this button". I do this
(and multiple combinations of this) and nothing seems to work - in fact this
"fully reprogrammable" flight stick doesn't appear to be programmable at
all.
Can anyone else help? Anyone else have this "flight stick" for an Xbox?
Group replies or remove obvious from e-mail address.
Regards,
PK

Chris,
thanks, dropped them a note already but no response so far.
Hoping somebody else knows how this might work - I think the instructions
are just 'backwards' but I've tried all sorts of order of performing the
steps with no joy.

| Bummer. Hope someone drops by with a response, or the manufacturer
responds.

Just to close this off ... Pelican support's response was to send me a PDF
of the manual which is a joke. The manual is 2" square and has a total of
maybe 200 words; needless to say this did not resolve my problem as I had
already read and carefully followed this 'manual'.
If you do buy one of these or get it for Christmas don't forget to test out
the program ~feature~ ... if I managed to try out 2 duds in a row then I'll
be very surprised.
