| Is it true that the new ('05-'06') Xbox2 will NOT be compatable with any
games I have now, for the Xbox?

It's unknown because no details on the Xbox successor are available.
Why would you assume games would be compatible? I couldn't play my Master
System games on my Mega Drive, or my Mega Drive games on my Saturn, or my
Saturn games on my Dreamcast. Or my NES games on my SNES etc.

i would assume this as ps2 is compatible with ps1 and that is what M$ are

I really doubt that the ps3 will be out by next Christmas - 2006 in the
states is even a bit iffy, but microsoft is no doubt keeping them to an
aggressive schedule nonetheless.
