I am considering purchasing this game since I like racing games alot. I have
played the Demo on OXBM disc #26 and I've noticed that the game doesn't that
much noticably different from the first PGR game. It just new tracks and new
cars.
I wanted to ask those of you who own the full version of the game if, the
completed version looks better than the first one. (perhaps the demo is
incomplete in its graphic development).

Also what are the best racing games out currently on the XBOX?

Thanks
J.

Jack, it is very much different than PGR. Much improved, I would say. If
you're into racing games, you might also be interested in Forza Motorsport,
which is supposed to be coming out in early 2005:

I hesitate to call it a true racing game, but for fun check out Burnout 3.
It is a blast, and has a great "speed" feel to it. But a racing simulation
it is definitely not, although the slow motion is cool enough to stand on
its own.

Which reminds me, non-auto, but anyway I really like MotoGP2. I think the
simulation is quite good, the graphics awesome, and online play is pretty
incredible.

PGR2 is a great game but I would wait for Forza Motorsports.

Well they're completely different games. PGR2 you can dip into now and then
but Forza will require much attention to get anything out of it.

My advice, get both!

It's not even close to being the same freak'n game as the first. The first
had no online play and was so dark I couldn't even see where I was going.

I agree with burnout 3, while its far from realistic, The sensation of
speed in the game is amazing.

I enjoy PGR2 also, but I really like Rallysport 2.

Tons better. However I doubt the demo is any different than the release in
terms of graphics. The original was so dark I couldn't hardly see the
track. Had the same problem with SpyHunter.
