Doom 3 -Not before 2005?

| I just wonder about this. I assume that Doom 3 will be available for
the Xbox. -But is it true, that it will not be before January 2005?
Why that, I thought that it should be in October 2004?
Now I will have to play Halo 2 instead this X-Mas. -Or use my PC
CD-ROM version of Doom 3, of course.
