Author Halo 2: Lag in regular game?

I've recently been playing Halo 2, and I noticed that when I'm playing
against my friends (I haven't played the campaign yet) there seems to be
some lag. The game will freeze up for a split second. It's as if I'm
playing online. One of my friends said that on his game it doesn't happen.
Is "lag" this normal?

Thanks, Brad

I have not seen lag in system link, split screen or online. Are you talking
about split screen or system link? If system link, it could be a router
issue, or even cabling.

The only problem is I'm not using a system link or anything. I'm just
playing regular split screen vs. mode w/ my friends on one x-box. Could it
be a problem with my X-Box? Because it's "skipping" (like lag in online)
even thought I am not online.

hmmm... try a DVD drive cleaner (a cd with little brushes on it) I guess,
but make sure it says DVD on it as I have heard there are some that say CD
and if you put them in your DVD drive it will actually scratch the lens
instead of clean it...
