Getting Linux to work on an XBOX became relatively easy a
few years ago, and building an XBOX render farm became the
next logical solution. Anandtech bought 8 XBOXes and
clustered them into a neat project any hardware hacker
could appreciate. Check out the results as Anand pits his
8-way cluster against some Xeon and Opteron workstations as
well.

Dunno, what's a 'Halo 2'?

Halo is M$ version of /Wheres/ /Waldo/ -- a slow plodding find 'em game for
3 year olds.

There is a lack of action and most of the time you end up driving a jeep
around in an empty landscape that looks like the back of a corporate office
park -- trees and concrete.

Not surprisingly original, as I would expect from someone who has the email
address ManFromMars_43.

Even better, linux can be run on the Gamecube, and the PS2.

Well..ok PS2 Linux is no longer strictly avaliable...but there must be
some kits still around somewhere.

That's kind of what I was thinking - what's the point...it's cheap and easy
to build your own Linux box with exactly the components you want for
whatever you are doing with the box.

Hell, there was some article somewhere about getting a version of Linux to
run on a GBA...but again - why? Unless you have nothing better to do with
your time there is no point.

If you need a PC for some purpose - decide what features you want then build
the box and pick and OS that works for what you need..whether it's some *nix
varient, Windows or...even cp/m that suits the purpose...
