I just bought a 3 month Xbox Starter kit. Upon trying to enter my
subscription code, I recieve a message saying this code is invalid. I've
triple-checked the code; I've entered it correctly on the screen. I'm having
no luck trying to find a contact number at Microsoft to handle this; any
help?

You can contact them at 1-800-469-9269. If you are not in North America go
here:
http://www.xbox.com/en-us/cultureSelectLanding.htm
choose your region, click support, and you should see the correct number.

This is a know problem with Xbox Live starter kits. Not all of the
subscription codes work. How classy.

Your best (and only) option is to contact Microsoft support and try to
convince them that you indeed have already paid for your subscription.

Good luck with that. Microsoft support for xbox live is full of idiots.
Be prepared to wait on hold for a loooooooooong time.
