| I heard it's the French version. For me it's all about the live play so im
not even going to bother looking for it.

If it's, "all about the live play," then did you dislike the original Halo?

At least that is one thing we can count on, regardless of game quality. ;)

The first Halo was made as a offline game. The second one has the online
feature.

Dear Dr.:
You know, as well as I, that the vast majority of them will just be saying
they are disappointed because they think it's cool to be 'different'.
Not to mention all the brain-dead PS2 and GameCube fan-boi's who will parrot
the party line about how the useless sh*t they have on their boxen (not to
mention their pale imitation of online gaming that they must suffer through)
is somehow "better". You remember what it was like when you were 12, right?
Long as you keep that in mind, all their shit-talking falls into
perspective.
The number of people that actually buy the game, and play it, that will
*truly* be "disappointed" is incredibly small, and probably suffering from
some sort of mental condition to begin with.
Regards,
H.

I get what you're saying...
.....but I think (after having played H2 through what is probably at least
half-way) that there's a case to be made for disappointment. One of my
first thoughts was "what took so damn long?" I liked H1 a good deal--while
I wasn't one of those folks who played it constantly, I did enjoy playing it
through several times and it was always out when friends came over.

That comment from you is similiar brain-dead. All three platforms got
some really nice exclusive titles. And online gaming? Sure, XBox live is
nice, but not everyone likes online gaming.

There has been so much hype about Halo 2, I wouldn't so surprised if
some people have such completely unrealistic expections about it, that
they will still be disappointed, even if it will be the really great
game I expect it to be.

I guess my humor was a bit too subtle for the audience. Sarcasm anyone?

True. See my response above.

Just the wrong place for that kind of humor, with all the fanboys
around, you can't expect people to notice you ain't serious.
