Although its cool that you have such a long time to take back stuff at the
stores there in the UK, but I will never understand the logic your lawmakers
use to make it the responsibility of the stores to take back and eat the cost
of the sale when an item becomes defective. Its the manufacturer who made the
crappy or defective device, the store just sells the damn thing.
