Downloads from marketplace...

| Every time i try to download something from the XBox live marketplace, it
hangs at 5%. If I then restart it, It will jump immediately to 50%, and
then most of the time it will (SLOWLY) complete up to 100%, but sometimes it
will hang again there.
I have an 8mbit comcast connection, everything else works fine, I can play
games on live just fine, downloads from every other machine are excellent,
but I am just having problems with the live marketplace. It happens with
both demos and trailers, but doesnt seem to happen with the EA Trailer.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Rick

| I have the SAME connection from Comcast and the same exact problem! It
downloads, but it downloads way slower then it should and the download bar
is just wacky. If I want to download a large file I wait until I'm finished
with the 360 and then start the download and not worry about it as it takes
a while to get.

| I had this problem when I was using a LinkSYS G router on my network. I have
since flipped to a dLINK 580 and have had zero problems thus far. I am not
certain if you are using a router, but might want to look at that as a
possibility. I am not saying it will solve your problems, but it certainly
did for me (and this was even afterbeing wired directly to the LinkSYS)

| I am using a linksys router actually. I will try to wire directly to the
cable modem sometime, and see if that helps.
thanks for the input.
