| I _must_ wear headphones when I play a game. I always play late at
night and I'm in an apartment.
I plan to buy the Xbox - live combination. Will I be able to
connect a padded set of stereo headphones and a built in mike. And
plug it directly into the Xbox?
Can the Xbox 360 play CD's, like the kind I could rent from
Blockbuster, and use the headphones?
Thanks

| To use Headsets to hear the 360 Sounds from the 360 would be the SAME as the
Xbox! The Headset is for online gaming over LIVE and is for Voice Chatting.
Which plugs into the controller. There's no game sounds though it. You
would have to plug your Headset in either a TV or Surround Sound Receiver
with a Phones jack, either standard size to Mini with Adapter or not
required depending on the headset you have. For me, I can plug into my
Surround Sound receiver since the Audio of the Xbox and 360 does/will go
though there and I have a Phones jack I can plug into.
The only problem I then see is trying to use 2 headsets at once. But then
again, if your using a headset so your quite, then talking over LIVE you'll
be making noise and your voice will be even louder because you get excited,
and your hearing is blocked from the Game sounds headset so your going to
talk louder.
As for CD's? Not sure what your talking about. Renting 360 games? Yes, but
they are on DVD's just like the Xbox. Yes you can play Audio CD's, and
CD-R, CDRW, ect.
