Hi,

my son has asked me if i can connect his xbox to xbox live, i have a
wireless router for my internet connection so it seems the easy option is
use this to connect to xbox live, but i am having trouble finding someone in
the UK who sells microsoft wireless game adapters (MN-740 according to xbox
uk).

i was wondering if anyone can suggest an alternative adapter that is
compatible and fairly cheap, or someone who sells microsoft wireless game
adapters.

Linksys sells them.
http://www.linksys.com/products/gro...grid=33&scid=36

For a wireless-g (802.11g) there's the WGA54G Wireless-G Game Adapter
For a wireless-B (802.11b) there's the WGA11B Wireless-B Game Adapter

I'm sure there are others. But this is a start. You know GOOGLE is your
friend. Do a search for Wireless Game Adapter and you should find all
kinds if Info.

DLink also make a wireless bridge unit - the G810 is 108mbps speed - I use
it connected back to the D624 wireless router with my XBOX and it works just
fine

I'd suggest you consider matching the brand of the bridge with your wireless
router - never hurts to have that 100% compatibility
