| The XBox 360 headset will most certainly be wireless and will communicate
with the console rather than the controller. The reason of course is that
the power in the controller will be limited being that it will be running
off 2 AA batteries (rechargeable of course).
Also, in regards to your question about the Halo2 headset - it does not
include the communicator. It is only the headset. From what I have heard,
it is quite comfortable. I guess that would depend on the person though.
It may be a better quality headset, but there is nothing special about it in
regards to halo2. The original headset is also voice activated... this is
determined by the communicator, not the actuall headset. If you break it,
and don't feel like buying a whole other communicator, or the Halo2 headset,
you can buy any cell phone hands free headset and it will work just fine.
It is exactly the same plug and functionality. The more you pay, the better
quality (lower backgound noise, clearer sound).
