I still have my original communicator headset (it works great), and I
bought a 4 way adapter and 3 headsets (I think MadKatz brand). The
adapter and extra headsets don't work very well at all.
I have seen and thought a lot about buying the new "Halo 2"
communicator, but it is rather pricey, considering I already have a
headset that works perfectly well.
Just wondering if anyone has tried the new communicator, and what your
thoughts might be. I think on the box, it claims to be voice activated
and somehow not pick up other sounds in the room. Or somehow this
headset is supposed to work better with Halo 2? I am also concerned
about comfort. The old style sits on top on your ear, the new halo 2
headset goes more inside your ear. What do people have to say about
the comfort factor? Also with if being more inside your ear, people
might have issues about sharing this with their friends?
I'm also curious, how do you break a headset? I can imagine that it's
probably by sitting or stepping on it?
I heard that the new Xbox 360 will have wireless controllers. It would
be really cool if it also had wireless headsets.
