PGR2 - "session is no longer available"
|

| Hi,
I was really annoyed last night when I couldn't join my friends for a race
in PGR2. Each time I tried to accept an invite or quick-join a friend's race
I got the message saying "session is no longer available". This happened
about twenty times, even though I could join random Optimatch races with
only a couple of innstances of the problem. I have had no problem joining
friends before last night.
I use internet connection sharing with Windows 2000, and it happens whether
the fiirewall is on or off. The firewall has the appropriate ports opened
for Live play. All my other Live games are fine.
Thanks for any assistance.
Chris

I believe that the person hosting the game has to have a good
connection. THe worse the connection the less people can be hosted. Try
starting a game and sending THEM invites and see if that fixes the
problem if it hasnt worked itself out.

| I have had the same problem with my PGR2 game and i solved the problem with
using a network hub. A cheap one is very good to solve this problem.
