Hi there

I am hoping that someone can help me. I want to connect my xbox live to the
internet in my room via myPC. The PC is connectedto the internet via a
wireless network card. Is it possible to share this connection with my xbox
by enabling the internet connection sharing function in XP and plug my xbox
into my spare LAN 10/100 socket.

Do I need any other equipment? I have heard of other people using a
"bridge". What are they? and why should i need one?

PLease help!

Thanks

S

DJ you could try using Internet Connection Sharing (see
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/connect/choose.htm ) but it would be much
better if you just set up the Xbox with its own wireless connection to your
router/base station. You would be adding lag by going through a computer,
and that computer would also need to be on and connected at all times you
want to use Xbox.

DJ, it can work but not well. Save up your pennies and go buy a wireless
adapter for the xbox. Then you can connect directly to your wireless access
point without going through your PC. It will be much better.
