reset router - do I need to insert IP address

| hi - I recently had a few connections problems which I assumed were caused by
my router. As it turned out, they weren't, but did result in me performing a
factory reset on the router. Now, unsurprisingly, I can't get on to XBOX
live.
What do I need to do - enter the IP addresses? - will I lose gamer tag info
etc etc?
cheers

| You need to set up the router as you did before, according to your Internet
Service Provider's instructions. With the correction settings on the
router, your Xbox should just be able to automatically connect again without
needing to change anything in the Dashboard.
